The Department Plant-based Foods (150d) is looking for a passionate and driven Research Associate / Doctoral Candidate who will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge monitoring/imaging solutions for real-world food processing applications — bridging the gap between academic research and industry. You will further develop and apply such monitoring solutions in lab and pilot plant settings, gaining hands-on insight into food behavior under real processing conditionsThe position is expected to be filled as soon as possible
Your qualifications:
−M.Sc. degree (completed or soon to be completed) in engineering, material science (or a strong interest in the field), bioprocess engineering or related fields
−Knowledge in mechanical and material sciences as well as programming
−Interest in engineering and food solutions
−3D printing
−Scientific creativity, organisation skills, scientific integrity, eagerness and persistence to pursue a PhD, and a high ambition to learn new skills if required
−Ability to work in a team and networking skills
−Well versed in written and oral German and English.
